Many states have specific rules on what roadkill you can claim. One of those states has made it completely illegal to take home animals you find along the road.
Representatives from Core-Mark International, a fresh food supplier are venting their frustrations with Montana’s strict milk laws and a recent revocation of an exemption that had been in place after a court ruling.
Montana is a beautiful state, not many states can compare to her. However, when it comes to laws Montana may not quite be on the cutting edge. It seems that our cities in particular might have a little difficulty making sound judgements when it comes to city laws. Some of these laws may have been relevant at one time, but others I’m not sure were ever, or will ever, be relevant.
Ten of the strangest, dumbest and oddest laws in Montana.
1. In Excelsior Springs, Montana, you are not allowed to "worry the squirrels."
2. In Billings, bands or other performing artists cannot leave the stage anywhere alcohol is served.
3. In Montana, it is illegal for married women to go fishing alone on Sundays, and illegal for unmarried women to fish alone at all.
