I like to think that I abide by most — if not all laws — when it comes to the state of Montana, but after I read this list, now I'm not so sure...

While scrolling through the Google machine to occupy my bored brain yesterday, I came across a "Big Government. Small Brains. Dumb Laws." website that showed me something rather unexpected — state and city laws that probably most people aren't all too familiar with, especially Montanans.

It's safe to see many of these are dumb and pointless, but who am I to judge? Tell me what you think. Here's what dumblaws.com said were some of Montana's many rules and regulations.

It is illegal to have a sheep in the cab of your truck without a chaperone.

Now for many eastern Montanans that could be a serious deal breaker...

It is illegal for married women to go fishing alone on Sundays, and illegal for unmarried women to fish alone at all.

Why? I'm not even sure...I mean I guess I wouldn't ever want to fish by myself married or not, but still.

This next one is a shoutout to all those Blaze listeners...

It is illegal for a man and woman to have sex in any other position other than missionary style.

What's the fun in that? I'll just leave that there before I get myself into any more trouble.

Now onto some city laws...

In Kalispell, all pool tables must be able to be viewed from the street outside a billiard hall where they are located.

I don't even have a question to tag with this law.

In Billings, bands who play in clubs where alcohol is served may not leave the stage while performing.

No potty breaks for you, you Billings band members.

Have you heard of any other dumb Montana laws? What's your favorite? Comment below.
