Many People in Montana STILL Don’t Have High-Speed Internet

276,000 people in Montana still don't have high-speed Internet. Hathaway rancher and executive Vice President of The U.S. Cattleman's Association, Jess Peterson says that's not good enough.

Governor Brian Schweitzer and The American Recovery and Reinvestment act of 2009, Commonly known as The Recovery Act, designated two million in funding for high performance computing. At least two companies, Hughesnet and 360Networks that have operations in the state did receive money from the Recovery Act to help expand Internet coverage to rural Montana.
