It's that special time of year when you should be thankful for all that you have. After all isn't that the whole point of Thanksgiving, to give thanks?!
Recently my friend Amanda and her husband Anthony invited a whole group of our friends over to their apartment for a Friendsgiving. Which basically was an excuse for us to all get together and drink good wine, eat good food and simply enjoy each others company.
This year we even mixed it up by adding the addition of Ellen DeGeneres' Heads Up game! We kept it simple and only played the animal category, which somehow still proved to be difficult for some of my friends! Haha But to be fair it's pretty hard to describe an Armadillo.
But the great thing about having a Friendsgiving was that we all took time out of busy schedules to hang out with each other. It's so easy these days to get caught up with work and relationships that we neglect to spend time with our friends, family and other people that care about us.
So if you get the chance this holiday season, I would truly recommend having a Friendsgiving of your own. It's good for the mind AND the soul!
