Congratulations Jill & Ryan!

Two of my dearest friends have revitalized my belief in true love. Just last week Ryan proposed to Jill in the most perfect and special way... surrounded by her family!

But the best part of the story is that a couple weeks prior to the proposal, Jill's family did their annual Christmas photo shoot. As a joke, the photographer said she was available for engagement photos whenever Ryan decided to pop the question. Jill played along and gave her a taste of what to expect when that day actually came (see 1st photo).

Little did they know that Ryan already had plans to lock it down. A couple days before their Christmas dinner with Jill's family, Ryan asked Jill's dad if he could ask for his daughter's hand in marriage. The negotiations were tough (see 2nd photo)! Haha

But of course her dad finally caved and Ryan got his chance to propose to Jill. To say there were a few tears was a bit of an understatement!

When Jill texted me the video of her holding up her new gorgeous engagement ring I have to admit I got a little misty eyed as well. And then when they called me later to tell me about the actual proposal I was feelin' all the feels.

I love these two so much and I'm beyond happy for them to take this next step together. It's rare these days to find a couple so head-over-heels in love with each other! They give me hope of finding true love! So congratulations Jill and Ryan, I love you both to the moon and back!
