Yellowstone National Park Closes Thanks to COVID-19
Just a few days ago, the government announced that people could get free admission into national parks during the Coronavirus outbreak - which seems like a good idea, but in order for it to work, the parks really need to actually be open.
Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks have announced that they are closed to all visitors until further notice. This is effective immediately, and it means that no visitor access will be permitted at either park - the highways and roads that travel through the parks will remain open to the public, however.
Previously, the parks were still open but indoor parts of it like the visitor centers were closed. I'm guessing if Yellowstone is closing, more parks will follow.
