We've been gearing up for the return of Yellowstone to the area for a while now. First, we got the official word that the show was looking to return to Missoula to do some filming in the spring. Then, we noticed that they were hiring locals for production assistant and COVID compliance officer jobs.

And now, the casting process is underway: Yellowstone Season 5 is officially looking for paid extras in Missoula and the Bitterroot Valley.

How to Be an Extra on Yellowstone

If you were around when season 4 of Yellowstone filmed in Missoula, a lot of this will seem familiar to you. But it is just a little bit different this time, so it's good to go over it.

First of all, in order to find out about specific extra jobs, you're going to want to keep an eye on the Yellowstone Extras Casting Facebook page - now keep in mind, this is a DIFFERENT page than the one they used last season. Go like it so you're in the loop regarding the latest extras jobs when information comes out!

In order to apply, you need to submit your photo to yellowstoneextrasmontana@gmail.com, along with the following info:

- Name

- City and State

- Phone Number

- Age

- Height

- Weight

- Clothing sizes if you know them (i.e. coat, neck, sleeve, waist, shoe size, hips, bust, dress size)

I tried to be an extra last time around and didn't make the cut - but hey, it's always good to try again! One of our radio DJs actually did manage to be an extra on the show and he documented the experience right here.

You can get even more info on how to be an extra for Yellowstone this season - and everything you'll need to do once you're selected - at Yellowstone's extra casting website.
