Yay, it's October! Pumpkin carving is upon us and the best, locally grown gourds are on sale now to benefit Missoulians experiencing homelessness. Pumpkins for the Pov sold every squash they had last year, around 2,500, so they've bumped the goal up to 4,000 this year.

40 Percent of our shelter Guests have income but struggle to find housing in Missoula's competitive market.

The Poverello Center Food Programs work hard to get our most vulnerable neighbors fed every day of the year. They provide hot lunch and dinner, sack lunches, and Food Pantry services each week, which not only feeds people experiencing homelessness but also helps keep people housed.

Since 2016, Pumpkins for the Pov has raised crucial funding for Food Programs through the sale of organic, locally grown pumpkins. Dedicated partners and supporters make this fundraiser possible, and of course, YOU make it all possible, so buy your pumpkins with purpose this year at the following locations around town throughout October!
