When Will Missoula Get America’s Favorite Fast Food Spot?

It was pretty big news back in February when it was announced that Missoula would be getting a Chick-Fil-A. There wasn't much for details when the news broke, just that a building permit had been applied for and the location was on N. Reserve where the Pier 1 Imports building now sits empty. And nothing has really happened since that February day brought us news of the planned deliciousness to come.

The rumors were that the Pier 1 building would be demolished and the new Chick-Fil-A built in its place. But I drove by the building last week and nothing looks any different than it has for months. I'm not sure what the holdup is - and there hasn't been any news of plans changing - but things have pretty much gone silent since the announcement.

A quick Google search of "Chick-Fil-A, Missoula" only brings up the initial news from February. So if you have connections to the top secret world of upcoming construction projects in Missoula - let us know if you've heard any news about when things will get rolling!

When we do get a Chick-Fil-A - it means that according to one survey - we'll have the place that's been recognized as the country's top fast food restaurant for seven years in a row. It will also mean that Missoula will have 9 of the top 10 places on the list.....with Dunkin' Donuts as the only missing piece.

I lived in Florida for a couple of years - and Chick-Fil-A, Firehouse Subs, and Dunkin' Donuts were all very popular. The new Firehouse location on N. Reserve should be open soon.....and we're going to assume the Chick-Fil-A is still happening.....so maybe we'll see a Dunkin' Donuts before too long.
