The talk is called "From Bird to Bat, From Pole to Equator: Dangerous Viruses on the Move." Rocky Mountain Laboratories (RML) public outreach speaker series presents Dr. Vincent Munster's unique viewpoint on recent virus outbreaks throughout the world. He has been along the Dutch shores examining birds that were spreading influenza, with dromedary camels shedding a mystery illness in the Arabian desert and bats suspected of harboring deadly Ebola virus in Africa. His teams were among the first investigators of the new diseases.

His free talk will be at 7 p.m. tonight, October 8, at the Hamilton High School Performing Arts Center. The presentation is sponsored by RML in Hamilton. The federal facility is part of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectous Diseases of the National Institutes of Health.
