You know, when I started writing this blog, I was actually trying to inform people about how Veera Donuts, the popular vegan donut shop here in Missoula, was now selling vegan burgers as part of Veera After Dark, a new program on Sunday nights that sees them open until 1 AM. But then, I went to their website, and saw a big banner that said, "TEMPORARILY CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE."

Naturally, I was confused - I live right around there and hadn't heard about any closure. But, you do a little digging on social media, and you can always find something. It turns out, Veera Donuts closed three days ago after an employee tested positive for COVID-19. They announced the closure on Instagram.

They do stress that the closure is just temporary, and they plan to reopen when it's safe to do so. Veera Donuts is far from the first business in Missoula that's had to close down due to COVID, and they likely won't be the last. Hopefully, they can reopen soon - those vegan burgers sounded really, really good.
