UM Students Go Old Hollywood, and Glittery at Queer Prom

Get ready for a happy spectrum of people! Time to bring together the University of Montana's queer communities and the broader Missoula culture to diversify our town and school even more. A gender-bending black and white affair! Queer Prom is this Friday from 8pm to midnight in the Governors Room at the Florence Building, which is right above The Red Bird.

It's an upcoming fundraiser this weekend for the Lambda Alliance -- the University of Montana student club dedicated to providing a safe space for students and community youth who are GLBTI

The event is called Silver Screen Dreams: an Old Hollywood Affair, with a theme of "Old Hollywood 1920s-1940s." A drag show, a raffle, photography, and much more will be on tap. The event is 18+ with a $10 entrance fee at the door.

During the night, dance to some of Missoula's best, DJ Tygerlily and DJ Logisticalone rockin' Electro Swing, a mix of small band music and dub step.
