The September 12th report for Montana noted 140 new positive tests for COVID-19, with 144 people hospitalized. There have been 133 deaths attributed to the coronavirus in the state, according to the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services. Over 8,925 people have tested positive for COVID-19 this year.

By county in the Saturday morning report - Rosebud - 32 positive tests, Yellowstone - 30, Cascade 17, Roosevelt 8, Big Horn 7, Gallatin 6, Liberty 5, Missoula 5, Glacier 4, Toole 4, Hill 3, Silver Bow 3. There were 2 each in Beaverhead, Carbon, Custer and Fergus Counties, and 1 each in Chouteau, Dawson, Garfield, Granite, Lewis & Clark, McCone, Park and Sheridan Counties.

Friday's report from Ravalli County Public Health showed no new cases in the Bitterroot Valley. Remember to wash your hands often, be aware of social distances and wear a mask when social distancing is not possible.
