Everyone first heard Kelly Clarkson on American Idol, and I, for the life of me, couldn't remember her audition. How this girl had any competition blows my mind. She's almost too good...Is that possible?

As if she didn't blow us away with her first performance, Kelly picked up Aretha Franklin's hit single "Respect," and found out what it means to her by making it to the next week. What better way to blow the judges out of the water than to show Aretha Franklin a little competition? You go, girl.

I Surrender
I have goosebumps as I'm watching this video. Is that weird? Definitely not. Kelly owns the stage and tugs at the heartstrings of everyone in the audience. That has to be hard to do...Especially at 20 years old.

You could throw any song at Kelly Clarkson and she would show it who's boss. She sang "Without You" on the "Judge's Pick" night and did a spectacular job — but I don't need to tell you that.
