Hike to the M. Not only do you get a work out, but you get a beautiful view too.

Go bowling. It’s really fun and awesome taking kids, because then you can use the bumpers too!
Plant a garden. Spring is here and if you want some delicious fruits and veggies this summer, now is the time to plant. Plus it’s always fun getting your hands dirty.

Have a dance contest. Okay, this one might be cheating, because it involves music which is usually played through an electronic device, but I think it’s a good kind of cheating. This is really fun and usually ends up in everyone rolling on the floor laughing at each other’s moves.
Go out to dinner as a family. Nothing will try your patience or test your kids’ manners like a dinner out with the kids!
Dust off those old board games and play. My kids love Yahtzee, Life and Scrabble, but play whatever you have. It’s amazing the interaction and fun you’ll have by talking to each other instead of watching other people talk on TV.
