Often times you want to make your spouse or significant other feel special, you're just not sure how to make it happen. I was reading an article this week from sheknows.com regarding a few easy phrases you can say to make your spouse feel appreciated, and loved it. It's so easy to go through your day without telling your spouse how much they mean to you. That is one thing that I try to do everyday is make my wife feel appreciated and beautiful. She is my rock and I am lucky to have her by my side. Enough about me. Check out these tips to make YOUR spouse feel more appreciated.

1. Make things about them. When you get off work and are venting about your day, don't forget to ask how their day went. It's easy to get caught up in our own daily grind. Make an effort to know what is going on at your spouse's work.

2. Let them know they are missed. Even if they just left the house in the morning, send an email before they get to work and let them know you are thinking of them. It's those simple things that can make their day so much better.

3. Put your spouse above everything else. This is one that I have to often remind myself of. Work or anything for that matter should be second to your relationship. Just think how you would feel if your spouse made you not as important in their life, just remember who is most important.

4. Acknowledge your spouse. Don't take anything for granted. Even the smallest thing like mating your clean socks out of the dryer. There are things that are done for us all the time and often overlooked, make sure to acknowledge those things when they happen.

Being in a relationship is hard work, these are just a few tips that I try to remember so my soulmate will continue to put up with me. :)
