Friday night (4/29) we saw The Hu at The Wilma and I've never, ever seen that venue so packed for an opener, rad job Missoula! The opening band was female-fronted The Haunt and they did not disappoint. And The Hu, holy wow, their performance was one of the most unique, captivating concerts I've ever seen and heard. The instruments, the vocals, what a nice change of pace, good stuff. Bonus points to the guy behind us who yelled "F**KIN YEAAAAAAAHHHH" at all the appropriate times.

The Wilma has made their latest rock announcement with Theory of a Deadman set to perform on Wednesday, September 28th with All Good Things opening. The show will hit The Elm in Bozeman two nights later on September 30th. Tickets are on sale this Friday, May 6th at 10 a.m. online and at the Top Hat Box Office during these hours. Tickets are about $32 and it's an all-ages show.

Speaking on their latest album "Say Nothing," frontman Tyler Connolly shares:

“This album allowed me to say all of the things that were on my mind earlier, but I was too afraid to say,” the frontman admits. “Our previous material was pretty much all relationship-driven. Everything was about me being unhappy. This one was about what’s going on in the world, the state of American politics, and everything else. It was a completely different way of writing for us. I remember Dave asked me, ‘Hey dude, did you watch a lot of CNN or what?’,” he laughs.
