Remember around the end of 2019/beginning of 2020 when we were making concert announcements for the upcoming 2020 summer concert season at Kettlehouse? Obviously, none of those shows got to happen thanks to COVID - but it seems like Kettlehouse is intent on getting at least a few of them back.

We've already heard that artists like 311 and The Decemberists - who both had concerts scheduled at Kettlehouse for 2020 - will finally be back in 2022. And now, you can add another one to that list: acclaimed alternative rock band The National, who was originally supposed to play the Kettlehouse Amphitheater in July of 2020, has announced that they'll finally be making it to Kettlehouse in 2022.

The National Will Play the Kettlehouse Amphitheater on Monday, August 8th

The National have gained a pretty dedicated fanbase over the years, and they've only become more prominent as time has gone on. They recently did the music for the film Cyrano, they collaborated with Taylor Swift on her albums Folklore and Evermore, and if you're a Game of Thrones fan, you'll probably remember their haunting rendition of "The Rains of Castamere" which figured prominently into the show.

Ah yes, the Lannisters send their regards!
