Thanksgiving is almost here, and I am already preparing for the food coma. When it comes to Thanksgiving, no one cares how unhealthy it may be. It is one of the few times a year that you can throw all you diet concerns to the wind and just enjoy some good cookin. General Mills recently compiled data from last year's Thanksgiving and focused on the most searched for recipes in the days leading up to Thanksgiving day. They then divided the data among all 50 states.

According to Mentalfloss.com

To highlight regional Turkey Day tastes, General Mills collected data from top recipe searches on BettyCrocker.comPillsbury.com, and the cooking website Tablespoon.com.

Pies were number one in seven states . . . buffalo chicken dip was the most popular in three . . . and for some reason, "oven roasted vegetables" was number one in Montana.

The study also shows that Montana's favorite pie is something I have never heard of before and it is called the "Impossible Pie."

According to Lovefoodies.com

The impossible pie has a filling texture of a baked egg custard. Smooth, creamy and simply delicious. The top of the impossible pie has a slightly rough textured crust. What happens when it is baking is the coconut flakes come to the surface of the pie and hence you get a slightly textured top.
