The spirits are restless at the Haunted Hamilton Playhouse Friday and Saturday nights. The "haunted house" event had its initial tours Thursday evening and will again be taking victims ... er ... customers through the mazelike corridors and surprising backstage areas of the theater at 100 Ricketts Road, west of Hamilton. The tour starts in the lobby, and the windows are covered to keep curious people from looking in ... or for creatures to be looking out.

The Halloween event is open Friday and Saturday, October 26 and 27, for its final two nights from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. It is NOT recommended for children, according to executive director denise rose. Dress warmly, the line forms outside the building. Admission is $5. That's not all for the Players this Halloween. They have their free "Grave Readings" on stage October 30, the night before Halloween. The Tuesday night readers theater presentation will start at 7 p.m. Admission is free, but you invited to buy some goodies in the lobby at the bake sale, and support community theater in Hamilton. By the way, season tickets go on sale November 2nd, but that's another story.
