After seeing everyone so happy today that I brought in my dog, I am convinced, animals in the work place boost employee moral.

Before I was married and had kids, I was a proud puppy parent. I loved my dog more than anything else in the world at that time. When I was younger I had a pet rat named Ned. He was given to me by my brother, much to my mother’s chagrin. He was a sweet little albino rat. I used to put him in the hood of my sweatshirt and go for walks. He was very sweet.

At around 6:20 this morning, May 29, the Missoula Fire Department dispatched three engine companies, a ladder company and the Battalion Chief to a structure fire at 1633 Idaho Street.

In past years yellow ribbons were used to commemorate soldiers away at war and could be seen on almost every street. They were tied to trees, fences, mailboxes and even cars. However, today that yellow ribbon has a new meaning. Yes, thanks to The Yellow Dog Project, you can now see yellow ribbons tied to dog leashes all across the United States.
