Unsolicited, unmarked CDs containing racist multimedia materials have reportedly been showing up in mailboxes across Montana. The envelopes are postmarked from Wyoming and we don't want it.

I realize there are lots of people with lots of different opinions and I can't do much to change those.

Most people are going to have a hard time disagreeing that Montana is one of the very best places to live in the United States, but that doesn't mean there aren't some easy ways to make Montanans hot under the collar about our home.

Time Magazine recently announced that the University of Montana will be showcased in a spread for an article entitled "The Sexual Assault Crisis on American Campuses." Ironically, I also just finished an op-ed a month ago expressing why I felt Missoula should not be labeled as "America's Rape Capital."

I normally don't get excited about TV. Heck, I hardly even watch TV, but one show I really did get into besides "The Walking Dead" was "How I Met Your Mother". I don't think I have seen every single episode, but I have seen most of them and I would argue was pretty emotionally invested in the characters.

I was having breakfast Sunday morning. It was after a quick run, so I was by myself at a Dennys. The next table over were 4 women probably in their early 30's. One woman was mad, because on Saturday her husband blew off going to church, a family BBQ, and fixing a few things around the home.

The new cellphone-while-driving ban is now in effect in Missoula. People who are caught using a cellphone while driving will receive a warning until February 3, 2013. Beyond that date, tickets will be issued for anyone pulled over for being on his or her cellphone. We want to know what you think about the new ban.
