Friday, the Missoula Maulers dedicated their game against the Gillette Wild to the family of 11 year old Dominick Sharp. Sharp's life was cut tragically short in a house fire earlier this month and the family lost everything. To help the Sharp family, the team played Chuck-a-Buck instead of the usual Chuck-a-Puck during second intermission and asked fans to throw cash on the ice...

Missoula’s Corey Schafer scored at the 17:45 mark in the third period and then with only 17 seconds left in the game, Jimmy Morris tied the match up at 4′s to put into overtime...
For the first time in franchise history, the Missoula Maulers find themselves in first place in the AWHL standings at the mid season Christmas break. The Maulers went on the road this weekend and beat the Billings Bulls 5-4 in thrilling double overtime fashion Friday, then defeated the Gillette Wild 5-0 Saturday night and completed the 3 game sweep with a 7-2 victory Sunday afternoon.

The Missoula Maulers are coming off a weekend sweep of the Icedogs and Americans. Friday night at the Glacier Ice Rink, the Maulers defeated Bozeman 7-2 and then went to Great Falls and lit the lamp 8 times while allowing just 1 goal. The game vs Great Falls included a goalie fight and line brawl to add to the excitement.
