It didn’t take long for someone to spill the beans on Danny McBride’s weird Dundee movie, which, as some suspected, is part of an elaborate ad campaign. Still, it’s hard to deny the appeal of a Crocodile Dundee sequel starring Danny McBride and Chris Hemsworth — no matter how obviously fake it is. So we’re not exactly mad about the “full trailer” for the “movie,” which unveils a cast stacked with Aussie faves like Hugh Jackman and Margot Robbie.

In the wake of Harvey Weinstein’s downfall, the complicit silence around sexual harassment and assault that pervades in the film industry and our culture is slowly being broken. The spotlight in the DC Extended Universe is squarely on women right now. Wonder Woman is still tying moviegoers in knots; just one more good weekend will make it the second biggest DCEU movie in the U.S., and it could pass Batman v Superman for the top spot not long after. Princess Diana will get back in the spotlight in Justice League this fall, and last summer was all about Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn stealing scenes from Will Smith and the rest of the Suicide Squad. Basically DC sisters are doing it for themselves.

Margot Robbie’s plan for world domination is going pretty well: Her upcoming projects include an A.A. Milne biopic with Domhnall Gleeson, a Harley Quinn Suicide Squad spinoff and — best of all — a Tanya Harding biopic (which she’s also producing). For her next trick, Robbie is heading to the circus to perform death-defying acts in the role of famous real-life trapeze artist Lillian Leitzel.

If you liked the scene in Batman v Superman where Bruce Wayne watched YouTube videos about the future members of the Justice League, you'll love Suicide Squad. Instead of just one scene of plot-stopping fan service, Suicide Squad delivers an entire first act of soul-deadening exposition. The movie spends nearly 30 story-free minutes with a Machiavellian bureaucrat while she sits in a restaurant discussing a top secret personnel file. Here is Deadshot, the world’s greatest assassin; this is Harley Quinn, the Joker’s psychotic girlfriend. Oh, and have you heard about Captain Boomerang? And on and on and on.

Yesterday, the cast and director of Suicide Squad took to Twitter to answer fans’ questions about the upcoming movie. And while many of the questions were geared towards the actors’ relationships with the superhero franchise — their favorite characters, superpowers, or questions as to who would win in a fight between the various heroes and villains of the DC universe — there were a few questions that offered the cast and a crew a chance to either dive deep into the filmmaking experience or just have some fun with the answer. I’ve listed a few of my favorites below, but you can view the full Q&A at the official Suicide Squad Twitter page.
