Elk

A Missoula woman and her boyfriend Glen, came close to colliding with an elk. On Heather Leigh’s Youtube page, she says the two of them were enjoying the scenery on a ride from Missoula to Ovando. They were on their way back to Missoula on October 3rd, when Heather’s boyfriend slowed down for a truck that was stopped in front of them.

All kids love mud puddles. It doesn’t matter if they are a boy or a girl. Mud puddles equal endless fun for kids. They splash, jump and kick to their hearts content. There is just something about a hole filled with muddy water that screams “I’m fun! Jump in me!” to little ones.

The first full week of open rifle season has passed and harvests for both mule deer and white-tailed deer are up 23% compared to last year. Elk harvests, on the other hand, are down by nearly the same amount. A total of 58 mule deer, 153 white-tailed deer 204 elk along with one black bear, one bighorn sheep, and moose have been harvested so far...

Humans are not the only critters on earth that like to get drunk and belligerent. Turns out elk are no strangers to the "sauce." Apple sauce, that is.
