Here’s Whom Joss Whedon Would Pick for President, If He Got to Choose an Avenger
Joss Whedon is open about his politics, never one to shy away from letting us all know whom he supports for this upcoming election. Just last week, he and a few of his Avenger pals posted a PSA to launch his new organization Save the Day, urging Americans to make sure they’re registered to vote. On Friday, Whedon also hosted a Facebook Live chat to promote Save the Day, in which he answered some fan questions, including which of the Avengers he’d pick to run the country.

If there’s one thing we’ve learned from our years on the Internet, it’s that there’s no aspect of comics that can’t be broken down and quantified in a single definitive list, preferably in amounts of five or ten. We’ve been hearing bits and pieces about various elements of ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron,’ from the origins of Ultron and Vision to who Andy Serkis might be playing in the film. But we haven’t heard a whole lot about what’s up with Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, the super-powered twins teased at the end of ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier.’ What we do know is that they’re going up against the Avengers.
