Supergroup Joe Russo’s Almost Dead Will Return to Missoula
This past summer, I saw a ton of shows at Kettlehouse - Social Distortion, Robert Plant, Cake, The B-52s, Slightly Stoopid... but even I didn't see everything. There were a few shows I really wanted to see but couldn't, and that included Joe Russo's Almost Dead back in June.
So good news if you missed that show like I did! JRAD is coming back to Missoula for another show in July 2020! Here's the info from Logjam's press release:
Logjam Presents is pleased to welcome Joe Russo's Almost Dead for a live concert performance at the KettleHouse Amphitheater on Saturday, July 11, 2020
Drummer, Joe Russo, formed the band in 2013 with Ween bassist Dave Dreiwitz, keyboardist Marco Benevento, guitarist/vocalist Scott Metzger, and American Babies’ guitarist/vocalist Tom Hamilton to form the legendary Grateful Dead cover band, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead. They’ve played at several high profile music festivals including Electric Forest, All Good Festival, Mountain Jam and High Sierra Music Festival. In 2018, JRAD played at the Peach Festival and Rolling Stone called their performance the “Best Scene-Stealer”, saying that, “JRAD takes improvisational jam rock to the nth degree.”
Limited Logjam presale tickets will be available online only from 11a-10p this Thursday, November 21. Sign up for the presale here.
