Free Cycles invites you to join them for one of their fun bike rides this Saturday, April 16th, in Missoula. And it's a good excuse to wear your cape in public!

Free Cycles is a community bike shop that offers an opportunity to build your own bike, find bike parts or rebuild a bike. More importantly, they are very focused on education and community engagement. They are a real asset to Missoula, I know a good handful of local kiddos who wouldn't even own a bike if it weren't for Free Cycles.

Saturday's event is a great opportunity to familiarize yourself with the group. They are throwing a "Sustainability Super Heroes" party with 3 bike rides.

-10:00 am The Big Loop: 75 mile, out to Alberton, over Petty Creek Road, back from Lolo to Missoula

-11:00 am The Kids Ride: 1/4 mile laps around the block

-3:00 pm The 20 miler: out Blue Mountain Road, Kona Bridge, back along Mullan Road and the River trail

The BBQ starts at 6 p.m. with live music at Free Cycles, 732 S. 1st Street W. All pledges and donations go to the Cycles of Change Campaign. Register here. For more information, please email sarah.luth@gmail.com or c_p_maroney@yahoo.com
