The three juveniles involved in Tuesday morning's burglaries and car thefts are facing serious charges. Sergeant Tony Rio with the Missoula County Sheriff's Department says the three are facing charges of felony burglary and theft.

A report of two stolen vehicles early this morning, Tuesday, Feb. 5 led to a high-speed pursuit by Missoula County Sheriff Department deputies and Missoula Police.

Sergeant Tony Rio says the first stolen car report came in early Tuesday morning. Sheriff's deputies found the vehicle in a ditch by Blue Mountain Road. Then, a women reported that someone had entered her unlocked Blue Mountain area home and stolen a debit card and her keys to a black Jeep.

Authorities began a pursuit of the stolen vehicle at about 5:30 a.m. Three male juveniles were inside the vehicle as it sped up and down the south side of Reserve Street, leading pursuing law enforcement vehicles on a high-speed chase. The Jeep finally turned onto Reserve Street, where stop strips flattened two of the vehicle's tires. Sergeant Rio says his vehicle was damaged as he attempted to box in the fleeing Jeep.

The three male juveniles are in custody and will appear in youth court.
