Phillipsburg Highlighted by National Geographic

Another Montana town gets glory by a national media outlet. National Geographic has ranked Philipsburg as one of the "Best Secret Ski Towns."The magazine calls Philipsburg a classic ski town. P-burg’s western storefronts, restored downtown with quirky lodgings are just a few of the highlights. The magazine also referred to nearby Discovery Ski Area as one of the best under-the-radar ski areas in the Northern Rockies because it has challenging runs. National Geographic says the area is only missing one thing, big crowds.
