When we hear of BIG celebrity sightings here in Missoula. Chances are they are guests at Paws Up Resort. Everyone from Leonardo Caprio to The Rolling Stones have spent time at this luxury resort. And, the resort/ dude ranch has been getting more and more popular in recent years. So much so, that Paws Up has recently started building additional lodging options for those with deep pockets.

Glamping has been a growing trend for years now. It is not just pitching a tent and cooking s'mores. It is luxury accommodations that appear to be rustic camping.

According to Merriam-Webster Dictionary, Glamping is defined as

outdoor camping with amenities and comforts (such as beds, electricity, and access to indoor plumbing) not usually used when camping

Paws Up latest addition to the ranch is a new resort called the The Green O Montana. The Green O offers up some luxury glamping at an elevated level. Everything from a comfy tent overlooking the Blackfoot River, to an actual treehouse.

Elevated 15 feet in the air, the Tree Haus offers two stories of living space. Ascend a spiral staircase to your master bedroom suite. Floor-to-ceiling windows give you the perfect vantage for admiring the forest. Two separate decks provide foliage-level views of the surrounding wilderness. In total, the Tree Haus offers 1,030 square feet of indoor living space. Though it feels like you’re floating in the clouds, the Tree Haus’s earthly delights include a ground-level hot tub.

Sound like a good time? Well you may have to tuck away some of that tax refund if you want to spend the night. The Tree Haus runs approximately $3,000 a night for 2 adults in the summer, and roughly $2,100 in the winter.

The Green O Montana is set to open in June.
