I really hope the world doesn’t end on Friday, because we are all supposed to hit up an awesome party! The Blaze has joined forces with Nick, the owner of Bubs N Boards, to throw the Apocalypse Survivors’ Party this Saturday at The Dark Horse Bar. After I survive the apocalypse, the first thing I would want to do is break my neck to some live local rock. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate survival, than rocking out to the bands Corporate Defiance and Hollow Ground.

The Apocalypse Survivors’ Party was not only created to kill some brain cells, but also to host a charity event to gather supplies to send to the members of The Montana National Guard who are currently fighting for our country overseas. Appropriately, the charity drive has been dubbed Holiday for Heroes. I know all you Blazers know and love JC, and she is currently serving our country overseas. So, the great news is that she will be one of the recipients of these awesome donations! Check out the list to see the supplies that we are looking for. For every item you donate, you will receive one entry toward a drawing to win awesome prizes, including a chance to score one of the long boards custom-made by Nick himself.

You can bring your donation(s) with you to the Apocalypse Survivors’ Party on Saturday, or drop them off at The Blaze/Townsquare Media – 3250 S Reserve St. Suite 200, Piercings by Paul – 1418 W Broadway, or Midnight Dreams – 2700 Paxson Street.

The Apocalypse Survivors’ Party begins at 9 p.m. on Saturday at The Dark Horse Bar, located at 1805 Regent. Lucky for us, there is no cover charge. Find a babysitter, because this is an adult-only show and, no, you won’t get in unless you can prove you are 21+ by using a photo ID. See you there Blazers!
