If you’re a Nicki Minaj fan and can’t wait another minute longer to see her new ‘Fly’ video, then you’re in luck. The rapper will release a sneak peek on Aug. 28 during the MTV Video Music Awards pre-show.

Rihanna will also appear in the video, since she lends her vocal skills to the track. Minaj had the privilege of working with director Sanaa Hamri, who has also worked with Christina Aguilera, Greyson Chance and Jay-Z.

The video was completed in January, but was delayed so Minaj could release her summer jam ‘Super Bass’ off her ‘Pink Friday’ album.

Minaj told MTV “The Rihanna video is a freakin’ epic movie.” In regards to the ‘Fly’ video clip, she told E! Online, “We’re going to save the world in more ways than one with the video.”

In January, the world got a little dose of the video when Rihanna tweeted a pic from the set and revealed, “Me and Nikki in our new crib, lol! Gettin busy on set of FLY!!! Its so hard to keep my hands off!”

The MTV VMA pre-show will be hosted by Selena Gomez.
