Missoula's new public archery range is finally up and running.

After three years and multiple organizations working to make it happen, the project is finally open to the public. The range opened on Monday, with the County Commissioner on hand to shoot the first arrow.

The new range is located in Big Sky Park, and anyone can use it, not just seasoned bow hunters. And, here's the best part - it's totally FREE.

If you've ever wanted to try out archery or if you want to show off your skills to your friends, now you've got a place to do it. And while you're there, you can donate to help out with maintenance of the grounds.

Have you been to the new archery range yet? If not, are you planning on checking it out?
