About a year ago, we reported on the plans to close the Hoagieville location on South Higgins and replace it with an all-ages taphouse. Hoagieville finally closed in May, and the work has been nonstop ever since - and now, that new taphouse is open for business.

The new place is called Cambie Taphouse + Coffee. Here's a little info about them taken from their website:

Our beautiful new taproom has a fresh, modern and comfortable atmosphere. For so long this corner has brought friends and family together. Whether it’s from the local neighborhoods and folks from Missoula, to the out of town friends visiting, or the many college students who spend their 4 years in our neighborhood, this corner has seen it all. We are lifelong Missoulians and Montanans ourselves, and we strive to provide a welcoming, energetic place where everyone can continue to meet and come together. Come and enjoy some beer, wine and coffee, as well as a wide selection of non-alcoholic beverages complimented nicely with our delicious food options. You can enjoy all Cambie has to offer inside at our inviting bar and seating area, or enjoy the great views and outdoor weather Missoula has to offer on one of our two outdoor patios!

A little more poking around on the site shows they have a rotating beer and wine menu, a selection of local coffee, casual and shareable food, and - as mentioned above - two outdoor patios, which will be great in the spring and summer.

Have you been to Cambie yet? Will you be checking them out soon?
