Name Released of Woman Who Was Thrown From Horse on Sunday Night

The name of a woman who fell off her horse on Sunday and died has been released.

"Her name is Dezerea Rogers. It is my understanding that she was riding horses with some family members and a dog came running to the horses and spooked the horses, which caused her to fall to the ground,"  Missoula County Sheriff's Office Deputy Coroner Bill said. "She was transported to St. Patrick's Hospital by ground ambulance and treated in the emergency room and then was transferred to the intensive care unit where she later succumbed to her injuries."

The accident happened around 8 p.m. near Frenchtown.
