Before you head out on a road trip in Montana, pay attention: The National Motorists Association compiled a list of states that are more likely to ticket drivers.

It's the not the most absolute and accurate study, considering that the data is pretty challenging to put together. Still, the group put together the rankings with a Google insights tool that researched the ticket-related search results over time, and as a result, showed the trends across the nation.

Either way, here's what they came up with. These are the the ten states where you are likely to receive a ticket. From likely to least likely, here they are:

#1.) Florida

#2.) TIED: Georgia and Nevada

#3.)  Texas

#4.)  Alabama

#5.)  Missouri

#6.)  New York

#7.)  North Carolina

#8.)  District of Columbia

#9.)  New Jersey

#10.)  Louisiana

And now, the good news. Here are the states LEAST likely to ticket drivers. Ranked from likely to least on the way down:

#10.)  New Mexico

#9.)  Nebraska

#8.)  Idaho

#7.)  West Virginia

#6.)  Maine

#5.)  Alaska

#4.)  South Dakota

#3.)  North Dakota
