It started with a video and a Facebook post from Whitefish High Schooler, Hunter Lamoureux, “Just chasing a moose while snowboarding…no big deal.” Now the teen’s friend, Charlie Rush has been fined $250.

A spokesperson with the Flathead National Forest says the $250 find is nothing compared to what could have happened, “"If moose feel threatened and go to protect themselves - a person can be seriously injured by them. At the end of the video, you notice that the moose stops and turns. That could have had a very bad outcome for the snowboarder…"

Is this just another case of teen boys being just that? Or is this stupidity at it’s finest for a couple of teens that have no regard for the world in which they live? You be the judge.
