Missoula Scheels Plans To Hire At Least 200 People

In October, construction at the Southgate Mall will be finally be finished and Missoulians will be able to see what's been going on over there, because that's when Scheels will actually be ready to open its doors.

We've been hearing about Scheels coming to town for a while, and they've even started advertising on the new sign outside of the mall, but we've still got to wait til the fall to finally see it for ourselves. But here's some good news if you're looking for a job in town - Scheels is hiring!

The new store is going to be in need of at least 200 employees, and their plan is to fill most of those roles locally. If you're interested, you can head to their website and fill out an application. Full-time positions offer benefits, medical, and dental, and they say that most start at around $40,000 per year.

I guess I hadn't really heard that much about what was actually going to be inside the store, but it sounds extensive - it's not just a sporting good store. They're also going to have an arcade, a mini-bowling alley, a playground for kids, a cafe, and a laser-shooting gallery. That'll definitely be worth checking out when they finally get around to opening up their spot at the mall.
