You know, when I first moved to Missoula back in August 2018, I didn't know anybody and had no idea what to expect. But one of my very first experiences getting into town was heading to Big Sky Brewing to take in my first Missoula concert: Shakey Graves.

He put on a great show, and he's returned to Missoula a couple times since then - most recently, last night, where he played a concert at Kettlehouse Amphitheater which ultimately sold out at the door.

It's clear that Shakey Graves has taken to Missoula in a big way - there were reports of him being spotted at the Missoula Paddleheads game and then partying downtown the night before, and last night while he was performing, he paid a little tribute to Missoula's favorite moose-based baseball team.

As you can see in the video that the Paddleheads tweeted out, there's Shakey Graves performing while wearing some big, floppy, foam moose antlers, a favorite among Paddleheads fans attending the games this summer.

And who could blame Shakey Graves for getting on the Paddleheads train? The team's been playing excellent all season long, there's been a ton of cool promotions throughout the season, and there's just always something new happening every time you attend a game.

Let's see if we can make this a recurring thing - the next concert at Kettlehouse is Wilco and Sleater-Kinny, maybe the Griz mascot Monte can join them for a song or two? Just spitballing ideas here.
