At around 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, Missoula Police officers were called to the probation office in the 1800 block of Stephens Avenue. According to Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh, probation officers requested assistance from Missoula police.

“Probation officers were with a client who apparently came to a meeting there while possessing drugs and drug paraphernalia,” Welsh said. “The probation officers reported that they had conducted a search per this gentleman’s probation conditions and discovered a substance that was later determined to be methamphetamine, as well as a pipe that is commonly used to ingest the drug. The gentleman is described as 40-year-old Gabriel Anderson and he was transported to the Missoula County Jail.”

Anderson is currently being held for felony criminal possession of dangerous drugs, felony probation violation and possession of drug paraphernalia.
