Have you heard about these events put on by CluedUpp Games? They are a British games studio that specializes in creating outdoor adventure games in various cities. They invite people to get dressed up in wild costumes and compete against hundreds of other teams in a city-wide event. Although in a city our size, I would be willing to bet that's more like dozens of teams, but I could be wrong!

CluedUpp has announced a Missoula event for Saturday, September 18th called "The Missoula Ripper." Here's their description, "Three men have already been struck down by The Ripper and fear is taking it's grip of this town! The police can't cope with a case this complex and your help is required to catch the killer. Put your crime-solving skills to the test at this exciting outdoor detective event. Experience life on the Murder Squad and see if your team has what it takes to crack the case."

The website says there are only 10 tickets left at the discounted rate of $41 per team of 2 to 6 players, it sounds pretty fun! Just to clarify, each team only needs one ticket. The basics of what you need to know are that your secret starting location will be revealed in your pre-game briefing. Your team can start playing any time between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on the 18th. The event should last between 2 and 3 hours. You should definitely dress to impress! Fancy dress is strongly encouraged for this one, but not essential, however, prizes are awarded to the best dressed team. And, you do have to have their app to participate.

This could be a fun team building activity for work or just a great excuse to hook up with friends you haven't seen in a while. Get tickets and more info here.
