The "Never Forget" Service is being held at Rose Park on September 11 at 2 p.m. in Missoula. There will be a large number of Honor and Color Guards. Tom Zeigler, a Battalion Chief with the Missoula Rural Fire Department, is going to honor the friends he served with that passed away on that tragic day 15 years ago. Zeigler worked with New York firefighters for nine years and on 9/11 he lost 27 colleagues who gave their lives trying to save others. The Exchange Club is planning to put out 4,000 flags to represent the 2,986 people that died on 9/11 and also the people that died from terrorism attacks in the U.S. this year and previous years. The service is open to the public and everyone is encouraged to attend.
