Think you have what it takes to make a short film in just 48 hours? To write, film, edit, and cast a complete story in just two days? Because that's the idea behind the 48 Hour Film Project, a national contest that travels from city to city to see which local filmmakers are up to the challenge.

The 48 Hour Film Project returns to Missoula on May 31st and ends on June 2nd. Local filmmakers will compete to see who can make the best short film, and the entries will be screened and judged at the MCT Center for Performing Arts. The winners will go on to compete with films around the world at Filmapalooza 2020, and that gives them a chance at a grand prize and the opportunity to screen their short film at next year's Cannes Film Festival.

Think we've got any filmmakers here in town who could go all the way to Cannes? Well, let's find out! Registration for your team is $125, and you can get all the details at the link above.
