Hey, the Oscars are this weekend! Did they sneak up on you too?

Even as somebody who's more tuned into the movie world than most, the Oscars were a lot tougher to keep track of this year. For one thing, they're happening two months later than they normally would be (delayed due to COVID); they're also allowing films from the first two months of 2021 to enter the race (again due to COVID); and there's not a lot of movies nominated that mainstream audiences have actually seen because most of them ended up getting delayed (as you probably guessed, due to COVID).

There were still a lot of incredible films nominated and even more stuff that didn't get any love from the Academy (please watch She Dies TomorrowNever Rarely Sometimes Always, and Da 5 Bloods when you can, they're incredible) - but it feels more difficult to pick the winners this year than ever before.

Still, I'm gonna try - I've made this my annual thing, and I tend to do pretty well. Last year, I actually won the Oscar predictions pool at The Roxy Theater's viewing party, so I sort of know what I'm talking about. So these are my predictions for every category (minus the short films) at the Oscars this year. Place your bets, people!
