I just moved back to Montana from San Diego, where I have been training the last four years at the Olympic Training Center for pole vault. The transition has been one that I have been looking forward to for some time. I absolutely LOVED training at the center, and San Diego had amazing weather as well as beautiful scenery. . .  But it was not home. I have now been back for almost two months, and I have been loving every second of it!

I have been long time friends with Doug Lefler, and even before I made the move we had been talking about ways we could team up and work together to share our mutual love for strength and conditioning.

Standing outside of Access Fitness one day we got to talking about weight loss, and The Biggest Loser TV show. We started snowballing with ideas on how to create our own. With us both having highly competitive backgrounds in athletics, we thought it would be great to go with a title a bit more positive. Thus where we came up with the idea of bringing the Biggest Winner Challenge to Missoula.

We are now a little more than two weeks into our competition, and I have truly been amazed at the wonderful people who signed up. Team Owen includes 12 of the most inspiring competitors I have met. From day one of setting our goals to just having completed our 16th workout, this team has not only motivated each other, but every person that steps into our workouts. I am very proud of my team, and cannot wait to see them reach the goals they have set for themselves!
