When Lolo National Forest closed down their campgrounds at the end of March, it was unclear when they'd be able to open back up again. Everything was shutting down all over Missoula, and the future was uncertain.

Now, slowly but surely, things around town and across Montana have started to open again as part of Phase One of Governor Bullock's plan for the state. We've seen some businesses and restaurants open their doors once again, and now, it looks like Lolo National Forest is getting ready to bring the campgrounds back, too.

According to a new press release, they have a plan to gradually reopen rental centers on May 13th, and hope to have all campgrounds within the forest open by Memorial Day weekend.

They also note that visitors should expect some changes and adjustments as they begin the reopening process, and that all visitors who rent a cabin are responsible for cleaning it with their own equipment when they arrive and when they leave. They also emphasize that social distancing guidelines should still be followed to ensure the safety of everyone.

So what do you think? Think this is a good idea, or should Lolo wait a little longer before bringing the campgrounds back for the public? Will you be heading over there when they do open?
