Summer is back! The outdoor free Summer Concert Series starts Friday, June 25 at Hamilton's Sapphire Lutheran Homes. The Large Lawn on North 1th Street in Hamilton will be the setting again for three musical concerts with local bands.

First on the stage this year will be "Who Dat," a valley favorite with band members from Minnesota to Malta and from Colorado to New Orleans. Their eclectic mix of tunes include covers of popular songs, from current hits reaching back into the 60s, 70s and 80s. Smiles spread throughout the crowd when "Who Dat" plays.

The very next week, Friday July 2nd, country rock band "406" will bring their Montana-grown hot-rockin' country sound to Hamilton. Mark Duboise, Checkers Barker, Jonn Parr, Tom Nash and Stu Jackson mix the whiskey-soaked Southern rock with popular country hits and even some slow dance tunes.

And, the three-week series concludes with "Band In Motion," performing since 2013 and coming to the series for the first time on July 9. Selecting the best in today's funk and yesterday's pop tunes, Band in Motion has been at Cowboy Troy's and was part of the Stock Farm summer shows in 2019. Band in Motion will make you get out of your lawn chair and dance! All the concerts start at 7 p.m.

That's not all for Sapphire Lutheran Homes this summer - not one, but TWO Shakespeare In The Parks performances in July. But more on that later. The Summer Concert Series has major sponsors to help keep the entertainment free of charge. They include Massa Home Center, Faith Lutheran Church, Done Right Foundations, Pigman Builders, Donaldson Brothers Ready Mix and Bitterroot Drug.
