Last Week Jim Parsons, This Week Anderson Cooper – Who Will Come Out of the Closet Next?

Last week Jim Parsons, who plays Sheldon on The Big Bang Theory, announced he's gay. Many speculated to the fact, but Parson's never confirmed it until recently. This week, Anderson Cooper has confirmed he's gay. Again, many had already thought that was the case, it was just never confirmed.

To sum up Cooper's email to Andrew Sullivan of The Daily Beast: "It’s become clear to me that by remaining silent...I have given some the mistaken impression that I am trying to hide something... This is distressing because it is simply not true. The fact is, I'm gay, always have been, always will be, and I couldn’t be any more happy, comfortable with myself, and proud."

Way to stand tall and be counted, Anderson! It takes a lot of guts when you're in the public eye and you just made it that much easier for generations of kids to do the same. So, who's next? With all the rumors surrounding John Travolta, you'd think it would be easier (and cheaper) to just come out of the closet. What about Tom Cruise? Does anyone actually believe he's straight? Or ANYONE affiliated with the Church of Scientology for that matter?
