Last Fly Tying Night Was a Success

Wow what a fun night, it was our last fly tying night and it was a blast.

We had more fun then tying I think but overall we learned the red machine and also some San Juan worms for the beginners. We laughed and had a good time, had some new folks who showed up and even watched the Penguins and Lightning game.

Thank you to Great Burn Brewing for allowing us to come in and have the fly tying night. It has been a great three months and we hope to pick it back up in the fall/winter. I have loved tying flies and learning new patterns. Thanks to John Staats of Rock Creek Mercantile and teaching everyone the red machine. Also thanks to John, Chelsea and Christy for coming out for their first time. Becky and her boyfriend did as well.

We always have a good time and that is what is most important. Check back for more fly tying fun and I'll post some videos of the summer flies I tie.
